Project consists of a design for a high end home a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. In order to comply witht the neighborhoods flood zone criteria, the house was designed on piles, with break away walls on the ground floor and all living spaces on the upper floors. The design includes providing open living /dining space on the second floor. Maximizing natural daylight to its fullest extent througout the house was also an important factor to the client. Finally, the design provides expansive views of the ocean from the 3rd floor bedroom suites.
